You shouldn't float if:

  • You have had an kind of hair color/treatment recently and the water does not run clear during rinsing
  • you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol
  • you have open sores
  • you have diabetes, or low or high blood pressure that is not under control
  • a history of heart trouble, epilepsy, seizures, fainting or blackouts, or anything that would affect you in an adverse way and have not received my doctor's permission to use the floatation tank.
  • you have a condition that can be adversely affected by cutaneous absorption of magnesium.
  • you have kidney disease
  • you have limited mobility and / or are able to get in and out of the float tank safely with no assistance
